"PETER Pan", J.M. Barrie's popular hero, the boy who-never-grew-up will
magically wing his way across the stage of the Kamani Auditorium from
November 2 to Nov. 12 as Kids World stages its fourth production for Delhi
audience. Judging by the slick professionalism and the joyous entertainment
value of former presentations, there is every reason to assume that 'Peter
Pan' too will score equal success.
Kids World is a theatre group associated with children within the age
groups from 4 years to 17 years. It is the brainchild of two talented,
ebullient ladies who have been associated with theatre for many years.
Lushin Dubey has been involved with theatre form her school and college
days and later spent many years with the Theatre Action Group (T.A.G.).
Bubbles Sabharwal moved from flying with the British Airways to running
her own boutique, and eventually found her niche in children's theatre
after a long association too with T.A.G. Both believe that "dramatics
is a powerful medium through which children can interact with a sense
of fun and increasing self confidence".
